You Me and the Gatepost

Geez, you're finally here.  Save me.  I've been sitting in this diner for a dog's year and despite what the picture may portray, James Dean is really freaking moody and Marilyn Monroe is a non-stop charade to the powder room, if You catch my say.

To my train of thought, the only way out of this portal is for You to reach up on that top shelf, click down on the feeds, and read to me.  The guy behind the counter has a thing about letting people touch them, but I am told by those in the know that the chapters of 'The Jesus Years' are the first second third in the column; and ...if memory serves, something called 'The Jumbo Daze' is on the bottom of the link.

If you prefer the deconstruction of a romance set within a relatively unknown festival in Spain, go with 'The Jesus Years.'  Myself, the bathroom walls have some good things to say about 'The Jumbo Daze.'  Interesting facts about elephants, even.

Either who, there are only so many Cherry Cokes one man can drink whilst awaiting deliverance.  For the love of Mary and Joseph, pick choose and peruse - I'll distract the keeper.  ...Go.  ...Go.  Read.

Courageous! Outrageous! I'll have a Douglas Adams with an editor on the side (make it a double). Cheers to ya!

Hey bud, your dad was my coach. Going to be in Vancouver in a week if you want to meet up?

    Answer to a suspected query:
My father was military, and access to the working part of the base was separated by a guard hut commanding a gatepost; the blog's name is in reference to a preface uttered when conveying information or gossip to be kept between you, that person, and the infamous gatepost.
